Job summary

AriensCo in Fayetteville, TN is seeking a self-starting Team Leader for our 1st shift Fabrication Department to ensure smooth flow of materials from break presses and lead the area team.

You will enforce standard work, drive takt-time compliance, train new staff, and root cause problems to meet daily production goals. We value Lean, 5S, and strong communication with supervisors and teammates.

Qualifications

• Minimum High school diploma or GED required.
• Understanding of Standard work, time observations, takt time, and related charts.
• Knowledge of Lean and 6S practices.
• Training and communication skills preferred.
• Past leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead area team members.
• Adherence to standard work.
• Create, maintain, audit, and improve standard work.
• Ensure cycle times meet takt time, assist on the line to meet daily goals.
• Train new employees, transfers, and cross training.
• Fill in for team members on vacation or absent.
• Root cause problem solving to meet daily production goals.
• Knowledge of waste elimination, continuous improvement, safety, quality, productivity, and delivery.
• Identify waste and eliminate it.
• Fill out production control charts and understand control boards.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors and Ariens personnel.
