Job summary

AriensCo is actively seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations at our Fayetteville, Tennessee facility. This role emphasizes safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while driving operational excellence across the plant.

Responsibilities include coaching leaders, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement, and ensuring resources meet key metrics such as safety, quality, budget, productivity, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or 12 years' experience in lieu of degree.
• Demonstrated experience managing manufacturing operations, teams, and key operational metrics.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and quality management tools.
• Experience in materials replenishment, process improvement (lean), project management, and supervision is required.
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication (laser, brake press, hand weld, robotic weldment and machining) is desired.
• ASQE, APICS, Lean Certification(s), quality tools and/or Six Sigma are desired.

Responsibilities

• Establish clear performance expectations, goals, and accountability for Manufacturing Leaders and Team Leaders.
• Provide coaching, development, and performance feedback to Manufacturing Leaders, Supervisors, and Material Leaders.
• Build a high-performing culture focused on safety, quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Support succession planning and talent development initiatives within manufacturing operations.
• Allocate and plan resources to meet key metrics: Safety, Quality, Budget/Profitability, Productivity, Delivery, 6S.
• Provide support to improve performance and manufacturability of new and existing products.
• Drive continuous improvement throughout fabrication processes using CI plans, quality plans, control plans, capital projects, new product development, problem solving, customer satisfaction, visual management.
