Job summary

AriensCo is hiring a Process Technician to support the Materials team in Fayetteville, TN. The role focuses on promoting core values, improving processes, and supporting line operations. Starting pay is $22 per hour for 1st shift, with responsibilities ranging from cycle timing to tooling audits and training others.

Preferred candidates hold a technical degree and have experience with lean principles, project planning, and effective communication. Authorization to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• A technical degree is preferred but not required.
• Experience using lean principles to drive continuous improvement.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and implement projects ranging in size and scope.
• Experience dealing with a variety of people in a variety of settings.
• Moderate level or above computer skills with MS Office preferred.
• A strong mechanical aptitude.
• An ability to communicate effectively – written or verbal.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Live and promote the Ariens Core Values and 15 Principles.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Conduct cycle timing/line balancing.
• Support updating standard work & binder.
• Identify and implement VA/VE projects.
• Support process audits.
• Support torque audits.
• Support CI log process.
• Support safety/ergo team.
• New line layout/setup.
• Supporting new technology integration.
• Identify and implement new tooling.
• Audit tooling/fixtures.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues.
• Submit maintenance/SAFA request.
• Production Verification (PV) build support.
• Design Verification (DV) build support.
• Manage impact of PCS changes on the line.
• Train and develop others as necessary.
