PowerSecure, a Southern Company subsidiary, is seeking a skilled Fabrication Technician to complete shop orders using sheet metal fabrication and related equipment, ensuring parts meet drawings and specs.

Ideal candidates have 4 years of hands-on fabrication experience, ability to work with manual and CNC equipment, and a proven track record in a fast-paced manufacturing setting; willingness to work various shifts and overtime.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent required or considered with related work exp.
• 4 years of hands-on fabrication experience with manual and CNC equipment.
• Ability to fabricate geometrically complex sheet metal and copper components.
• Ability to work with others in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a wide range of manually operated and computer-operated fabrication equipment.
• Apply math and measurement tools to set up equipment and ensure tolerances.
• Develop knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Able to ensure material consumption is accurate in IFS operations.
• Perform QA to ensure parts meet specs and quality standards.
• Follow safety standards and protect team members in all areas.
• Collaborate with maintenance to troubleshoot and keep equipment reliable.
