Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. is seeking a skilled fabricator to complete shop orders using sheet metal fabrication techniques and computer-controlled equipment. The role emphasizes adherence to drawings, specs, and safety standards while working with brake presses, waterjets, lasers, and finishing processes.

You will collaborate with a fast-paced manufacturing team, read drawings, use measurement tools, and maintain quality assurance throughout production, contributing to reliable, high-quality components.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED) preferred but not required.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Fabricator 1 - 6 months or more operational experience in the fabrication of components using both manually operated and computer-controlled fabrication.
• Fabricator 2 - 4 years or more operational experience in the fabrication of components using both manually operated and computer-controlled fabrication.
• Fabricator – 15 years or more operational experience in the fabrication of components using both manually operated and computer-controlled fabrication equipment.
• Associates degree in Metal Fabrication Technology or similar degree is preferred, but equivalent working experience.
• Forklift certification & scissor lift certification.
• Ability to fabricate geometrically complex sheet metal and/or copper components using an array of equipment including but not limited to a brake presses, shears, waterjet, folding, laser, plasma,
• Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel whether individually or in a team
• Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Complete shop orders using fabrication skills and techniques.
• Operate fabrication equipment including brake presses, shears, waterjet, laser, and plasma.
• Ensure components meet drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with maintenance for repairs and troubleshooting.
• Maintain safety standards and quality assurance.
