Job summary

Hamilton by Gunnebo is hiring a General Laborer to support fabrication operations in our Milford, CT facility. You will perform secondary operations after laser cutting, drill and size holes, tap threads, deburr edges, countersink, and install studs or hardware to meet print specs.

This is a first shift role with overtime based on business needs. Ideal candidates are safety-conscious, proactive, with basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and experience with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in factory/manufacturing preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge and use of hand/power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Willingness to work first shift and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure output and product meet quality standards.
• Prepare raw materials and set up fabrication operations.
• Maintain clean, safe work area.
• Inspect equipment and report issues promptly.
• Support 5S and Kaizen activities.
• Follow PPE and safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
