Hamilton by Gunnebo is seeking a Machine Operator I for the 2nd shift to operate state-of-the-art fiber laser cutting equipment. You will read blueprints, program CNC/CAM inputs, and monitor production to ensure precision and quality in every part.

Qualifications

• Experience operating fiber laser cutting machines in manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints and program CNC/CAM equipment.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls and PLCs in production settings.
• Knowledge of GD&T and fabrication techniques.
• Experience tooling setup on presses, CNC mills/lathes, and material handling equipment.
• Commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor fiber laser cutting machines to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Set up machine parameters using CNC programming, CAM programming, and blueprint reading.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of fiber laser equipment.
• Utilize calipers and micrometers for precise measurements and QC checks.
• Maintain production logs, machine notes, and inspection reports.
• Participate in 5S and Kaizen activities on the shop floor.
• Follow safety protocols and assist with other duties as assigned.
