Job summary

Hamilton by Gunnebo is seeking a Laser General Laborer for the weekend shift to support laser operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role focuses on ensuring quality output, preparing raw materials, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, safety-conscious, and able to work weekends consistently. Prior factory experience and familiarity with basic hand tools are desirable, with opportunities for growth within a global security solutions

Qualifications

• Previous factory or manufacturing facility experience preferred.
• Familiarity with forklift operation and warehouse procedures is a plus.
• Mechanical knowledge or experience working with hand tools and power tools is highly desirable.
• Ability to work weekends consistently on the designated shift schedule.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure output and product meet quality standards and report any issues to the Supervisor and Quality Manager.
• Support laser cutting operations by preparing raw materials and ensuring proper setup.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Participate and support 5S activities and Kaizen events.
• Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
