Job summary

CECO Environmental is seeking a Project Coordinator to support turnkey vessel fabrication and related industrial projects in a dynamic, on-site role in Houston, TX. You will coordinate project activities, manage procurement and inventory, and facilitate communication among clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams using ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365.

The role requires a bachelor's or associate degree in a related field and at least 3 years of project coordination experience

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, Industrial Technology, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in project coordination, project administration, purchasing, manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or industrial project environments required.
• Experience coordinating vendors, subcontractors, procurement activities, logistics, and material deliveries required.

Responsibilities

• Project Coordination: plan, execute, and close out fabrication and manufacturing projects; monitor scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables; develop schedules and milestones; communicate status to stakeholders; coordinate activities across engineering, production, quality, purchasing, logistics, and field personnel; maintain documentation.
• Procurement & Inventory Management: coordinate procurement activities, issue quotations, purchase orders, track materials; use D365 or other ERP for purchasing, inventory, and project tracking; ensure timely delivery; manage inventory and logistics for project equipment.
• Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination: support relationships with vendors, subcontractors, clients, and project stakeholders; coordinate subcontractor activities; obtain pricing; assist with cost estimates and budgeting; monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules.
• Project Support: assist field project activities; participate in inspections and document progress, quality concerns, safety observations; resolve issues with project teams; support continuous improvement in execution, procurement, and inventory; escalate risks or delays.
