Job summary

Tennant Company in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a supervisor to lead production teams on the 2nd shift (Monday - Thursday). You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics while coaching staff and managing performance.

Strong Lean experience and ability to make data-driven decisions are required. Responsibilities include hiring, training, and developing talent, maintaining equipment, and implementing continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of applicable job experience (production, distribution, logistics).
• Leadership/supervision experience.
• Experience with Lean System practices across multiple processes.
• Preventative maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to manage, coach and direct assigned teams to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost metrics.
• Manage team performance through evaluations, development and promotions.
• Interview and select new talent.
• Hold team accountable through coaching and discipline.
• Communicate and administer company policies and procedures.
• Identify and remove barriers using data-driven problem solving.
