Job summary

Tate Americas, part of Kingspan Data Solutions, seeks a Production Supervisor for 2nd shift to lead manufacturing teams in safe, on-time production of high-quality products. You will drive performance, coordinate training, and partner with engineering and leadership to resolve issues and meet schedules.

You will mentor employees, uphold safety and compliance, and leverage ERP and MS Office tools to report daily results and improve operations. This is a hands-on, multi-shift leadership role.

Qualifications

• Associates degree plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing; or 5 years supervision in multi-shift operation.
• Ability to prioritize tasks across shifts and monitor for timely completion.
• Strong understanding of production processes and equipment direction.
• Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for the safety of employees and enforcement of safety as a core value.
• Assign personnel to meet production objectives across areas of responsibility.
• Communicate daily performance and identify root-cause for special-cause circumstances.
• Coordinate and track training and cross-training for self-sufficiency.
• Run daily pre-shift meetings and update the daily production plan.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Plant leadership to address production issues.
• Develop and improve safety, quality, and environmental programs.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, SOPs, MOPs, JSAs and manuals.
• Report quality issues, unsafe acts, and conditions to leadership.
