Job summary

Tenneco in the United States is seeking a Production Supervisor on the 2nd shift to oversee team members, ensure safety compliance, and meet customer order requirements for quality products.

The role emphasizes lead-by-example leadership, problem solving, and continuous improvement using basic lean tools; you will manage shift schedules, track KPIs, and drive production plans. Experience in manufacturing environments and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• To assure the availability and efficient assignment of resources
• Assure the correct execution of processes (Safety, Quality, etc)
• Assure a clear communication of priorities and tasks
• Lead and communicate the correct escalation process
• Responsible for achievement of the Production plan
• Coordinate activities related to gaps or deviations of production consumables
• Achievement of established goals and KPI´s
• Initiate and lead corrective actions vs deviations “Problem Solving”
• Execute improvements on multiskills/training matrix from his/her area
• Follow up and execution of our defined systems
• Production report at the end of the shift
• Manage shift schedule from start to end, meetings, priorities, leading support areas according to the area needs
