Job summary

Saint-Gobain/CertainTeed is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd or 3rd shift in Minnesota. You will oversee hourly production staff, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, and drive continuous improvement on the line.

The role requires a 4-year degree preferred and 3+ years of supervisory manufacturing experience; proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with Kronos and SAP; and knowledge of ISO, Lean, TPM, 5S, and Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree preferred (equivalent experience may be considered).
• 3+ years of Supervisory experience (manufacturing environment preferred).
• Proficient in MS Office (familiarity with Kronos and SAP a plus).
• General understanding of ISO methodology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S & Six Sigma a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises hourly production employees on safe and efficient operation of line equipment and processes.
• Monitors production and quality to ensure compliance with standards.
• Oversees training to ensure proper operating procedures are followed.
• Leads shift safety meetings and training sessions.
• Assists in hiring hourly employees as needed.
• Performs root-cause analyses and implements countermeasures for losses.
