Job summary

The role requires a bachelor's degree (preferred), 3+ years of supervisory experience, and a track record with Lean practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is preferred for leadership roles.
• 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience with Lean System practices across multiple processes.
• Experience with preventive maintenance scheduling.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to hire, train, and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to manage, coach and direct assigned teams to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost metrics
• Manage the team's performance through evaluations, development, training, and promotions
• Interview and select new talent
• Coach and discipline to motivate and reinforce good behavior
• Communicate and administer company and department policies, work practices and procedures in an effective manner
• Identify, troubleshoot and remove barriers to success by using a data driven problem solving approach to make fact based decisions
• Support, implement and sustain continuous improvement initiatives
• Operate power-industrial equipment
