Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Fabrication Machine Operator based in Cartersville, GA. You will report to the Fabrication Supervisor and handle pre-operation setup and operation of multiple machines to ensure quality production and minimal downtime.

Expect a fast-paced environment; safety, PPE, and standardized work are essential. Overtime may be required; experience in lean manufacturing is a plus. Company benefits include health options and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; able to stand 10 hours
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and manuals
• Lean manufacturing experience or familiarity is a plus
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Safety-conscious with PPE and controls usage

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in Atkore’s safety program
• Cross-train in different shop areas as required
• Set up equipment pre-operation and ensure proper startup
• Operate and monitor multiple machines for quality output
• Maintain clean and safe work environment and adhere to procedures
