Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Field Technician for its Field Services organization to support FAA contracts. The role involves field support in the DC and Atlanta airspaces, requiring travel within a 3-hour radius of Charlotte, NC.

You will work on installation, testing, and configuration of networking and power equipment. The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain FAA security clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent with relevant field experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% and work outside regular hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform field support for FAA contracts (FTI, ADSB, DCNS, etc.).
• Install and test equipment, including RJ-11/RJ-45 connectors, fiber, and power supplies.
• Configure routers/switches and use network test equipment.
• Travel within a 3-hour drive of Charlotte, NC, and obtain FAA security clearance.
