L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Field Technician for the FAA field services team in the Richmond, VA area. You will install, repair, configure, test and perform preventative maintenance on FAA-related systems at customer sites, including remote locations in southern VA and nearby states.

Travel and on-call work are expected, with the ability to obtain FAA Public Trust Security Clearance. Strong technical, documentation, and admin skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Possess and maintains a valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical support for each program/system (FTI, MS, ADS-B, DCNS, WMSS and others) supported for FAA.
• Install, repair, configure, test and complete preventative maintenance on equipment at customer locations.
• Read, understand and follow equipment drawings and task orders.
• Work with NOCC, SAC, and Helpdesk to resolve field issues.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, parts/electronics, and vehicle inventory.
