Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Field Technician for the FAA program. You will provide field support for FAA contracts (FTI, ADSB, DCNS) across the ZFW_ARTCC region, performing installation, repair, configuration and maintenance at customer sites.

You must read drawings, document actions, work with NOCC and Helpdesk, and be willing to travel within the assigned area; on-call hours may be required. FAA clearance eligibility is needed.

Qualifications

• Network and circuit testing experience per Bell Core standards.
• Familiar with fiber, network topology, T1, DS3 testing.
• Proficient with power testing and DC/AC power supplies.

Responsibilities

• Provide field technical support for FAA programs (FTI, MS, ADS-B, DCNS).
• Install, repair, configure, test and perform preventive maintenance at customer sites.
• Read and follow equipment drawings and task orders; document activities.
• Travel to customer locations within assigned area and occasional remote sites.
