Job summary

Hyatt in Indiana is seeking a proactive Training Coordinator to assist in maintaining the Food & Beverage Departmental Operations Manual and to administer all employee training records. You will coordinate the hotel's Training Plan and Calendar and monitor trainee performance to maximize development and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a relevant degree in Hospitality or restaurant management and at least 2 years as an Assistant Outlet Manager or Team Leader in a hotel or large restaurant.

Qualifications

• Ideally a degree, apprenticeship or diploma in Hospitality or restaurant management.
• Minimum 2 years work experience as Assistant Outlet Manager or Team Leader/Captain in a hotel or large restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of the Food & Beverage Departmental Operations Manual.
• Administers all employee training records, ensuring they are kept up to date.
• Coordinate and monitor the hotel's Training Plan and Calendar.
• Advise the Training Manager of any new training material beneficial to the hotel.
• Monitor the performance of trainees to ensure maximum potential and efficiency.
