Job summary

Panorama on Seven at Buffalo Marriott at LECOM Harborcenter is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to train and lead the restaurant staff, generate reports, and assist with projects as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager and/or General Manager. The role requires a minimum of one year in Food & Beverage, supervisory experience, strong communication, and knowledge of safety and cost controls.

It is a full-time, in-person position with weekend/holiday shifts and a pay of $22 per hour, plus

• Minimum one year of experience in the Restaurant / Food & Beverage field.
• Previous supervisory / management experience is a plus.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Strong communication with guests, management and co-workers.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• ServSafe and/or food safety training.
• Alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS).
• Familiarity with food & beverage cost controls.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to perform budgeting and cost controls.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions for clientele.

Responsibilities

Shaner and Buffalo Marriott at LECOM HARBORCENTER is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor who will help train and lead the restaurant staff, as well as generate reports and assist with projects as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager and/or General Manager.The Supervisors assist where necessary to ensure optimum service to our guests, display leadership in guest hospitality, exemplify excellent customer service and create a positive atmosphere for guest relations.

Description:

• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Ensures compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Food and Beverage Department.
• Maintains food and beverage safety and quality based on hotel, Shaner, and Franchise specifications.
• Establishes, maintains, and trains standards and procedures for operations and safe working conditions in the department.
• Responsible for responding and handling guest related issues pertaining to the department.
• Ensures communication with General Manager, all other Department Managers, Supervisors and Staff.
