Job summary

CURRENT is a restaurant operating inside The Wade hotel, managed by HEI Hotels and Resorts in Chicago. The F&B Supervisor assists the Outlet Manager in planning and managing the Restaurant, Room Service, and other outlets to deliver exceptional guest experiences while complying with policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate point of sale systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Ability to push/pull carts weighing up to 150 pounds.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Adapt communication style to suit different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Monitor servers and busperson adherence to service standards.
• Supervise service of guests and respond to guests' needs.
• Assist manager with sidework and bank management.
• Read daily communication sheets and prepare for the following shift.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper setup of restaurant tables and stands.
• Comply with liquor regulations and communicate with restaurant manager about events.
• Assist with menu classes and taste panels.
• Provide clear directions to staff.
