Job summary

Exclusive Collection is seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor at Fanhams Hall in Ware (UK). You will help lead service across our restaurant, bar and events, bringing energy and personality to every shift while supporting the F&B management team.

You will oversee daily delivery of service, lead pre-service briefings, engage with guests and ensure smooth operations for weddings and private functions. A hands-on leader focused on guest experience and team development.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a restaurant, bar or hospitality setting.
• Strong guest engagement and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead service across restaurant, bar and events.

Responsibilities

• Lead service across restaurant, bar and events.
• Supervise shift, maintain warm, polished and efficient service.
• Run pre-service briefings and allocate duties.
• Welcome guests and anticipate needs with confident handling of questions.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar and events teams to manage flow and pace.
• Maintain high standards of presentation and service across all spaces.
• Support weddings, private dining and other events.
• Develop menu, wine and drinks knowledge and mentor the team.
• Train new staff and provide constructive feedback during service.
• Assist with stock control, opening/closing duties, and prep for service areas.
• Ensure food safety, allergens, licensing and health & safety compliance.
