Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to coordinate and manage all property F&B, kitchen and back-of-house operations, ensuring profitability and high-quality products and service. The role involves marketing ideas to promote business, reducing turnover, and meeting budgeted productivity with sustained quality.

The candidate will supervise F&B personnel, respond to guest feedback promptly, and work with the F&B Manager to address issues as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all F&B personnel.
• Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner.
• Participate in F&B budget, forecasting and monitor department performance.
• Monitor industry trends and take appropriate action to maintain competitive and profitable operations.
• Coordinate and monitor all phases of Loss Prevention in the F&B department.
• Organize and conduct department meetings on a regular basis.
• Monitor quality of service and product.
• Ensure timely purchase of F&B items, within budget allocation.
• Oversee operations of the employee cafeteria.
• Ensure compliance with all local liquor laws, and health and sanitation regulations.
• Ensure departmental SOPs are followed and training conducted.
