Job summary

Hyatt Regency Greenwich is seeking a leader to manage the daily operations of the restaurant and room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and to direct bar operations. This role will oversee hiring, training and evaluating staff, while ensuring service quality and adherence to SOPs and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has hospitality experience, hotel operations knowledge, and strong leadership and budgeting capabilities to optimize guest experience and revenue.

Qualifications

• More than two years of post-high school education.
• Two years of full employment in a related position, preferably in hospitality.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of restaurant/hotel practices and procedures.
• Supervision/management communication skills required.
• Ability to investigate and analyze activities and make recommendations.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, safety, budgeting and planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner as directed.
• Direct the day-to-day operations of the bar operations.
• Interview, hire, train, develop, and evaluate staff; implement discipline when needed.
• Retain and motivate associates across outlets.
• Assist with programs and ensure compliance with SOPs and regulations.
• Forecast and monitor budgets, labor costs, food/beverage costs, and supplies.
• Respond to trends and customer feedback to enhance service quality.
