Job summary

Gateway Hospitality LLC is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager for the Floyd Bennett Field Sports Center operations in Brooklyn, NY. The role oversees all Restaurant and Kitchen operations, drives revenue, manages budgets, COGS, labor and inventory, and mentors the Restaurant and Kitchen Managers to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities include menu adherence, staff coaching, scheduling, recruiting, Micros and POS management, health and safety compliance, and reporting on revenue

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Culinary or related field
• Minimum 5 years F&B Management experience
• POS experience
• ServeSafe certification required

Responsibilities

• Oversee Restaurant and Kitchen operations to meet Company standards and financial goals.
• Lead recruiting, interviewing and hiring for F&B, in coordination with GM, HR and F&B Directors.
• Create labor schedules and ensure staffing guidelines are followed.
• Train Kitchen and Restaurant staff on recipes, techniques, Micros, menus and service standards.
• Manage budgets, COGS, payroll, invoices, inventories and bar controls; report performance metrics.
