Job summary

Floyd Bennett Field Sports Center in Brooklyn is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to oversee Restaurant and Kitchen operations, driving revenue growth while managing budgets, COGS, labor, and inventory. The role also involves coaching direct reports to foster development and maintain high standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, hands-on coaching, and the ability to coordinate FOH and BOH to deliver exceptional guest experiences while adhering to health and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Culinary or related field.
• Minimum 5 years F&B Management experience.
• POS experience.
• ServeSafe certification required.

Responsibilities

• Leads recruiting, interviewing and hiring for the F&B department.
• Creates labor schedules for Front and Back of House.
• Ensures FOH and BOH teams work cohesively to meet service standards.
• Covers Restaurant and Kitchen Managers during days off.
• Manages inventory controls and implements cost-saving measures.
• Maintains compliance with health, safety and company policies.
