Job summary

Kimpton Monaco Philadelphia is seeking an Assistant General Manager of Food and Beverage Operations to oversee restaurant, bar, and lounge operations. This role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining Kimpton service standards, and leading a talented team across multiple outlets.

You will partner with the rooftop and culinary teams to execute diverse events, manage staff performance, and ensure operational excellence during high-volume periods and special events.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant operations and/or supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in hospitality, restaurant, or culinary management preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day food & beverage operations across outlets (restaurant, bar, lounge).
• Provide leadership during high-volume periods and events; ensure guest satisfaction and service standards.
• Partner with culinary team to ensure quality and presentation of all offerings.
• Coordinate staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Ensure payroll accuracy and adherence to SOPs and cash handling policies.
• Lead event planning, private parties, weddings, and corporate functions.
