Job summary

Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa is seeking an Assistant Director of Food and Beverage. The role oversees Banquets, Restaurants, In-Room Dining, Lounges and Stewarding, driving guest satisfaction and financial performance in a premier Southern California resort.

You will lead diverse teams, develop budgets and marketing plans, and implement sales programs while ensuring compliance with health regulations and Hyatt standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive hotel F&B experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee Banquets, Restaurants, In-Room Dining, Lounges and Stewarding in F&B operations
• Develop and manage the budget, marketing plans and objectives for F&B
• Implement and maintain F&B sales/marketing programs
• Direct and oversee development of employees and perform coaching
• Direct payroll, reports, forecasts, inventory and budget for F&B
• Coordinate F&B operations with other hotel departments for guest service
• Resolve customer complaints to maintain high guest satisfaction
• Maintain Hyatt service standards and ensure compliance with health regulations
• Perform daily walk-throughs to ensure compliance with DoH and Hyatt standards
• Coach and counsel employees to reflect Hyatt procedures
