Job summary

Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa is seeking a Full-time Event Services Supervisor. You will oversee all Banquet activities, supervise set-ups, service, and cleanup, and coordinate with the kitchen and stewarding teams to meet Hyatt standards and client expectations.

The role requires at least 2 years in Event Services/Banquet Captain, with strong leadership, problem-solving, and customer service skills. A flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum Event Services / Banquet Captain experience.
• Overseeing event setup to Hyatt standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate with kitchen and stewarding for food & beverage event needs.
• Direct Event Services staff to deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain health and safety compliance at all times.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist in all Event Service (Banquet) activities.
• Supervise room set-ups, service, and cleanup of event functions.
• Assist in scheduling staff for event functions when needed.
• Support colleagues during busy periods to ensure seamless guest service.
• Promote a positive work environment through communication and respect.
