Job summary

Yaamava' Resort & Casino at San Manuel in Highland, CA seeks an Assistant Manager, F&B to direct and control efficient food service outlet operations and oversee training for non-exempt union and exempt staff. You will supervise culinary teams, bussers and cashiers to ensure timely menu execution and quality that meets standards in a 24/7 casino setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Food Service, Business or related field is required.
Minimum of three (3) years of restaurant or related hospitality experience required. Bar experience preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred.
Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements.

Responsibilities

Manages day-to-day operation of F&B venues in line with policies and procedures and department guidelines.
Develops initiatives to build sales, profitability, and guest counts; maintains cost controls.
Analyzes operating statements, manages labor and expenses to optimize profit.
Monitors team performance; ensures compliance and reduces cashier errors with audit collaboration.
Ensures safety meetings, health regulations, and staff certifications are current.
Oversees recipe adherence, food safety, and quality from prep to service.
