Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts in Orlando seeks an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to oversee operations of Food & Beverage and Banquets, ensuring prompt, courteous service that complies with Omni standards and policies.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in F&B management in upscale hotel settings, with strong wine knowledge and proficiency in Micros and MS Office. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is expected, with preferred banquet experience. On-site position with comprehensive F&B rewards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Food & Beverage management in an upscale hotel environment.
• Restaurant management experience preferred
• Banquet management experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of wines

Responsibilities

• Maintain and refine service standards.
• Correlate outlet P&L and financial information monthly.
• Maintain adequate service ware through communication with Executive Steward.
• Assist managers and unit chefs in refinement of successful menus.
• Assure consistent maintenance of corporate Food and Beverage systems and control procedures in all front-of-house operations.
• Assure unit management development through well planned cross training programs.
• Review all purchase requests of unit managers prior to submittal to the Food and Beverage Director.
• Maintain accurate private wine bin inventories.
• Maintain outlets environments and related areas.
• Maintain all outlets key control procedures.
• Forecast daily linen consumption and communicate needs to Executive Housekeeper.
• Monitor front-of-house uniform stock and forecast usage and purchases.
• Supervise EOM inventories of unit managers and unit chefs, coordinating with Food and Beverage controller.
• Ensure proper functioning of CTC systems and information gathering from system.
• Ensure daily menu abstracts are completed and summarized.
• Ensure cashier reconciliation procedures and related reporting and accountability are followed.
• Disseminate customer credit information daily.
• Maintain outlet pars of china, glass, and silver at identified levels daily.
• Attend daily and weekly food and beverage meetings.
• Participate in Key Result Area planning, organizing, and controlling.
