Job summary

Hotel Beauden in Downtown Orlando is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support department heads in overseeing outlets and banquets. You will help ensure health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards, while guiding staff to deliver high-quality food and service and maximize guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include supervising, coaching, scheduling, and coordinating with guests and vendors to maintain exceptional F&B operations and profit.

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English.
• Prefer one to two years of fine dining and/or hotel F&B experience.
• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
• Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.
• Previous supervisory/management skills and experience.
• Requires 8th grade math level.
• Requires high school reasoning level.
• Requires 12th grade language use level.
• No employee will pose a direct threat to the health/safety of self or others.

Responsibilities

• CUSTOMER SERVICE: Maintain customer satisfaction as the driving philosophy of the F&B department.
• FINANCIAL: Manage department within budget; forecast revenues/expenses; assist in preparing annual budget.
• PEOPLE: Manage staff including recruiting, orientation, training, performance reviews, and payroll considerations.
• Ensure staff are trained to meet standards and safety protocols; maintain OSHA compliance.
• Train staff to increase level of customer sales, service and safety skills on an ongoing basis.
