Job summary

The Hyatt Place Washington DC/National Mall, part of Donohoe Hospitality Services, seeks an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead a high-volume operation. You will oversee breakfast, CityBar rooftop, market, and banquets, driving revenue and guest satisfaction while maintaining Hyatt standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in F&B management, strong cost control, labor forecasting, and team development, with a track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 3+ years of food & beverage management experience in a restaurant, hotel, rooftop bar, or high-volume hospitality environment.
• Experience managing bar operations and beverage programs.
• Strong knowledge of labor management, inventory controls, food cost analysis, and revenue optimization.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the daily operations of the food and beverage department.
• Ensure quality and presentation meet standards daily.
• Respond to guest comments and complaints promptly.
• Assist purchasing and inventory functions of the department.
• Train staff on policies and service standards for hotel and guest brand standards.
• Monitor brand requirements in kitchen and front of house.
• Manage staffing levels to balance guest satisfaction and cost control.
• Assist weekly scheduling based on forecast.
• Oversee training and supervision of food sanitation and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with sales and housekeeping for banquets per BEO requirements.
