We are seeking an F&B Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure a positive dining and bar experience for guests. This role involves leading the front-of-house team, managing kitchen staff, maintaining service standards, and assisting in restaurant/bar management. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Job Summary

The F&B Manager is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the bar, kitchen, and courtyard bar. They will train and lead staff to uphold high service standards, oversee shifts, resolve guest concerns, and support staff management. The role requires a hands-on leader who can coordinate effectively between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Service Oversight:
  • Ensure all guests receive friendly and professional service.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints or special requests promptly.
  • Monitor restaurant cleanliness, ambiance, and overall guest satisfaction.
  • Organize weekly schedules for bar staff, servers, and kitchen staff.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of PLCB standards and alcohol laws.
Daily Operations Management
  • Oversee shift operations, ensuring efficiency and teamwork.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Manage opening and closing procedures.
Staff Supervision & Training
  • Lead and support bar and kitchen staff, including servers, cooks, and bartenders.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings for updates and expectations.
  • Train new employees and provide on-the-job coaching.
  • Ensure adherence to hotel and restaurant policies, including appearance standards.
Financial & Inventory Support
  • Monitor sales performance and assist with cost controls.
  • Support inventory tracking and supply ordering.
  • Assist with cash handling, tip distribution, and shift reconciliation.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Coordinate with kitchen, bar staff, and hotel management for smooth operations.
  • Communicate guest feedback and service insights to the General Manager.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a casual or full-service restaurant and bar, preferably in a hotel setting.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant and bar operations and guest service expectations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of POS systems and basic restaurant financials is a plus.
  • ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of PLCB standards and alcohol laws.
Skills

The ideal candidate will utilize leadership, communication, organizational, and time management skills to manage and train a team of food and beverage professionals. Experience in menu planning, development, and food safety certification will support delivering exceptional dining experiences and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
