Job summary

Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant Manager to lead dining operations and elevate guest experiences in a luxury hotel setting.

You will oversee service standards, coordinate with culinary teams, manage reservations and events, mentor staff, and drive continuous improvements while ensuring compliance with brand and property guidelines. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of leadership experience or equivalent preferred.
• Experience balancing nightly revenue and posting corrections.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make critical decisions without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional, friendly service to guests and maintain high service standards.
• Engage with guests professionally, making them feel welcome and valued.
• Coordinate special requests and manage guest profiles in reservation systems.
• Collaborate with culinary teams to ensure seamless service and superior guest experience.
• Forecast and schedule labor in line with service standards.
• Manage events, waitlists, and seating to maximize efficiency.
