Job summary

America's Best in Westminster, CA is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to oversee daily store operations, drive sales, manage inventory, and deliver a high-quality customer experience. You will lead the eyeglass department, ensuring efficiency and policy compliance while supporting a positive team culture.

The role requires supervising Opticians and sales associates, coaching staff to meet performance goals, and communicating with the General Manager and Corporate Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in optical sales and supervision preferred.
• Ability to lead and coach associates.
• Knowledge of store operations and visual merchandising.
• Fluent communication in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (i.e. reviewing the P&L).
• Oversee the eyeglass department for efficiency and policy compliance.
• Provide outstanding customer service and ensure associates do the same.
• Review quality standards, remakes, and enforce policies.
• Communicate with management and corporate offices and provide store reporting.
• Ensure promotions and visual merchandising are in place and understood.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and Sales associates; assist with day-to-day tasks.
• Assist in forecasting staffing needs and recruiting top staff.
• Motivate the team to exceed performance standards.
• In some locations, ensure duties meet licensing requirements where applicable.
