Job summary

America's Best, part of National Vision, is hiring an Assistant Eyeglass Manager in Westminster, CA. The role oversees the eyeglass department, drives sales, and leads a team of Opticians and sales staff, ensuring superb customer service and compliance with company standards.

Fluency in English and Spanish plus optical sales leadership are essential. The position offers competitive hourly pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth within a large retail network.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading and speaking both English and Spanish.
• Optical sales experience; supervising experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Sound understanding of store operations and standards for success.
• Strong communication skills for effective team management.
• Strong organizational skills for planning and monitoring progress toward goals.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (i.e. reviewing the P&L).
• Oversee the eyeglass department to ensure efficiency and policy compliance.
• Convey commitment to outstanding customer service and ensure the same from all associates.
• Review remakes and enforce quality standards and compliance.
• Communicate with leadership and provide store reporting as required.
• Manage promotions, advertising and visual merchandising with staff awareness.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and sales associates and ensure daily tasks are completed.
• Assist with staffing forecasts, recruiting and retaining a high-caliber team.
• Motivate associates to exceed performance standards.
