Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience as an Optician preferred.
• HIPAA familiarity a plus.
• Strong organization and attention to detail essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting frames, lens type and coatings.
• Take and verify eye/face measurements for proper fit.
• Interprets prescriptions from optometrists/ophthalmologists.
• Prepare work orders for lab technicians and track order status.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of store and displays.
• Provide exceptional service to drive referrals and repeat business.
