Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Eyewear Consultant in Vernon Hills, IL to support patients with personalized eyewear care. Training and tools are provided, no prior optical experience required, and weekend/evening shifts may be needed. You will learn to guide patients through frame and lens choices while explaining insurance benefits.

You will join a collaborative team focused on delivering a best-in-class patient experience and helping patients see and live their best lives.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing or sales role is beneficial.
• Ability to learn about eyewear products and insurance basics.
• Proactive problem solving with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with exceptional customer service and assess needs.
• Assist with eyewear/frame/lens selection using product knowledge.
• Deliver sales goals by building relationships and trust.
• Explain insurance benefits to patients clearly.
• Work with the optometrist to support lens/frame decisions.
