Qualifications

• One to two years of experience in related field.
• Working knowledge of MS Office package.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective verbal communication skills to prioritize multiple tasks and to be available for calls.
• Effective written communication skills to document customer situations clearly.
• Excellent interpersonal and rapport-building skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs and provide solutions.
• Ability to use discretion in applying customer guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and explain the process transparently.
• Assist patients with merchandise selection, fitting frames, and dispensing eyewear.
• Manage customer transactions at the time of purchase.
• Serve as a center of excellence for others with focus on Right the First Time.
• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses suited to vision, lifestyle, and budget.
• Support other retail associates with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Take and record measurements, adjust or fit eyewear carefully and accurately.
• Inform Office Manager of office problems noted by staff, doctors, or patients.
• Perform all tasks assigned by Office Manager.
