Job summary

MyEyeDr. is hiring an Eyewear Consultant to support doctors and the care team in delivering a best-in-class vision care experience. You will learn about eyewear, assist patients with frame and lens choices, and help explain insurance benefits while building trust through personalized service.

No optical experience is required; you will receive comprehensive training and join a collaborative team that values patient-focused care, growth, and ongoing development within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing or sales role (Retail, Hospitality or Optical field preferred).
• Proactive problem-solving with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Willing to learn about industry, product, and services.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with exceptional customer service by understanding and advising their needs.
• Assist patients in eyewear/frame/lens selection using knowledge of product lines and options.
• Consistently deliver sales plan and office goals through a patient experience built on trust.
• Provide patients with comprehensive explanations of insurance benefits.
• Utilize training to fit, measure, and adjust eyeglasses from a wide eyewear selection.
• Collaborate with the Office Optometrist to serve patients and lenses/frames.
• Coordinate with doctors and team for a seamless patient experience.
• Demonstrate MyEyeDr. values and brand philosophy to patients.
• Participate in other office duties as assigned.
