Job summary

LensCrafters at Macy’s stores across the U.S. is seeking a Team Lead to deliver exceptional customer service and manage optical and lab processes. You will assist customers, guide sales associates, and help ensure accurate edging, mounting and measurements while training team members.

The role emphasizes strong retail and optical knowledge, leadership, and problem-solving abilities to contribute to store success and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Strong optical and retail experience.
• Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Sales skills.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators.
• Leadership and training experience.
• Edging and mounting experience.
• Basic optics knowledge and optical measurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist in-store sales.
• Assist customers with selections and provide recommendations.
• Serve as a responsible alternate store key holder.
• Custom fit glasses and place prescriptions in lenses in the lab (if applicable).
• Ensure eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
