Job summary

National Vision’s Eyeglass World in-store team seeks an Optical Specialist to deliver exceptional customer service and help customers select and fit eyewear. You will support pre-exam workflows, assist with patient flow, and ensure smooth transitions from exam to pickup.

The role blends customer connection with finishing excellence to uphold brand standards. The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of optical, retail, sales, or customer service experience required.
• Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, confident, and personalized service at every stage of the visit.
• Assist customers with eyewear selection, fitting, and product education.
• Support pre-exam flow and in-store processes with Optometrists/clinical staff.
• Ensure orders are prepared for pickup with a polished, brand-aligned handoff.
• Maintain organized, clean finish and retail areas.
• Identify and resolve quality or service issues proactively.
