Job summary

Eyeglass World, a National Vision brand, seeks an Optical Specialist to deliver a high-touch customer experience—from pre-exam support to eyewear readiness and pickup.

Responsibilities include guiding frame selections, final fitting, and ensuring quality. Must have 1+ year in optical/retail and a high school diploma; Sundays off in some stores, with closing shifts Mon-Thu until 7:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service.
• Strong multitasking, time management and organizational skills; clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Create an exceptional customer experience with warm, confident service at every step.
• Guide customers through eyewear selection, final fitting, and product education.
• Ensure customers leave confident in their eyewear and experience.
• Assist with patient flow and pre-exam screenings to support optometrists.
• Support smooth transitions between exam, finish, and pickup moments.
• Perform finishing work and quality checks to ensure eyewear meets brand standards.
