Job summary

National Vision's Eyeglass World is hiring an Optical Specialist to deliver warm, confident service in-store. You’ll assist customers with eyewear selection, final fitting, and product education, ensuring each guest leaves with the right look and fit.

With at least 1 year in optical, retail, sales, or customer service, you’ll support workflow, perform finish checks, and maintain brand standards. High school diploma required; bilingual abilities preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service is required.
• Bilingual abilities are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and personalized service at every stage of the visit.
• Guide customers through eyewear selection, final fitting, and product education.
• Ensure customers leave feeling confident in both their eyewear and their experience.
• Assist with patient flow and pre-exam screenings to support optometrists.
• Perform finishing work including final adjustments, inspections and quality checks.
• Support order entry, tracking, and timely completion.
• Model Eyeglass World service standards and uphold brand standards in-store.
