Job summary

Eyeglass World is seeking an Optical Specialist to be the face of the in-store experience. You will provide confident, personalized service from pre-exam support to eyewear readiness, fitting, and pickup, ensuring a seamless, elevated brand experience.

With 1+ year in optical, retail, sales, or customer service, you will guide customers through eyewear choices, perform final adjustments, and prepare orders for pickup while maintaining brand standards and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service is required.
• Strong multitasking, time management and organizational skills are required.
• Clear communication and the ability to educate customers effectively are required.
• Ability to prioritize customer satisfaction at every interaction is required.
• Support store team in shared goals is required.
• Bilingual abilities are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and personalized service at every stage of the visit.
• Guide customers through eyewear selection, final fitting, and product education.
• Ensure customers leave with confidence in their eyewear and experience.
• Assist with patient flow and pre-exam screenings to support Optometrists.
• Keep finish and retail areas clean, organized, and efficient.
• Identify and resolve quality or service issues proactively.
