LensCrafters in Florida is seeking an EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience, ensuring high-quality optometric care and seamless linkage between doctor and retail functions. You will greet customers, explain services, and support both optometry and retail teams.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, accuracy in handling prescriptions, and proficient use of the POS system. Prior retail or optical experience is preferred; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and provide a welcoming experience.
• Answer phones promptly and help with inquiries.
• Explain paperwork, tests, products and services to patients.
• Review prescriptions and patient information for accuracy.
• Assist customers in frame and lens selection.
• Explain One Hour processing and delivery times to patients.
• Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA.
• Process contact lens orders and submit invoices for payment.
• Operate the POS system with accuracy and proper security procedures.
