Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an EyeCare Advisor who delivers the LensCrafters Experience by assisting customers with eyewear selections, explaining tests and paperwork, and supporting the patient journey from reception through payment.

You will greet customers quickly, handle prescriptions with care, and collaborate with opticians and management to ensure a smooth patient experience. Strong service, communication, and math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills essential.
• Excellent communication and listening abilities.
• Good math, cash handling, and POS experience.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to upsell and describe product features.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and provide an engaging experience.
• Explain paperwork, tests, products, and services clearly.
• Review prescriptions and patient info with care and escalate when needed.
• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses for vision and budget.
• Perform pre-exam tasks and support the optometrist as needed.
• Maintain store appearance and handle transactions accurately.
• Protect patient records per HIPAA and store policies.
