Job summary

LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks a Part-Time EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience. You will greet customers, explain tests and services, and support the Optometrist and Retail Management to ensure high-quality patient care.

This role emphasizes strong customer service, attention to detail, HIPAA compliance, POS operations, and accurate prescription handling. You will help patients choose frames and lenses, manage orders, and contribute to a welcoming store

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Organization skills.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers promptly; within 30 seconds.
• Explains required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information for accuracy.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant patient records.
• Assists with contact lens orders and invoice processing.
• Operates POS system and processes payments securely.
• Supports Optometrist and Retail Management as needed.
