Job summary

MyEyeDr. is hiring an Eyewear Consultant in Lakeland, FL. You will support doctors and teams to help patients see, look, and be their best. No optical experience? Training will be provided. Weekend/evening shifts may be required as part of this role.

Responsibilities include assisting with eyewear selection, explaining insurance benefits, and achieving office sales goals while delivering a best-in-class patient experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing or sales related position is preferred but not required.
• Proactive problem solving and a can-do attitude.
• Willing to learn about industry, product, and services.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with exceptional customer service by understanding and advising needs.
• Assist patients in eyewear selection using product knowledge to educate on best fit.
• Deliver on sales plan and office goals through a strong patient experience built on trust.
• Explain insurance benefits to patients clearly and accurately.
• Use company training to fit, measure, and adjust eyeglasses from a wide eyewear selection.
• Collaborate with the Office Optometrist and other team members for seamless patient care.
• Demonstrate MyEyeDr. values and brand in patient interactions.
• Participate in other office duties as assigned.
